⏱️ How Long Does It Take to Make Fried Eggs in the Air Fryer?

It’s important to note that not all air fryers heat the same. Because of that, I’ll suggest setting the timer for 6 minutes, and after that to check the eggs. After that, you can add a few extra minutes to obtain fried eggs exactly of how soft you like them.

Quick Tip: if you love the taste of the butter, I highly suggest trying frying the eggs in the air fryer using the ghee butter. You will get a more special taste.

🍳 How to Fry Eggs Without Oil?

If you’re looking for a way to fry eggs without oil, an air fryer is a perfect choice for you. All you will need is to spray the pan with a little nonstick spray.

🥰 Why You Will Love This Recipe?

  • It cooks quickly, which is important for a breakfast recipe. This recipe is incredibly easy to make and takes only a few minutes to prepare. Perfect for those busy mornings when you don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen.
  • It’s will be a new variation if you got bored of the same recipes each morning. You can customize this recipe to your liking by adding different types of veggies or spices. You can also adjust the cooking time to achieve your desired level of doneness for the eggs.
  • You can use vegetables from the refrigerator including leftovers. In that way, every day, as you will use every day different ingredients, you will get new dishes daily.
  • Making this recipe in the air fryer means less mess and hassle in the kitchen. Plus, it’s a healthier way to cook your food since you’re using less oil.

🏆 Tips for Success? How to Make It Better?

  • Use fresh eggs. The freshest eggs will get you a round firm yolk.
  • Use ghee butter. It does not burn at high temperatures. And it gives a creamier taste to the food.
  • Adjust Cooking Time: The cooking time for this recipe may vary depending on the size and power of your air fryer. Keep an eye on the eggs and adjust the cooking time accordingly to avoid overcooking or undercooking them.
  • Choose Ripe Tomatoes: To get the most flavor out of the tomatoes, choose ripe ones that are slightly soft to the touch. This will ensure that they are juicy and sweet.
  • Season to Taste: Don’t be afraid to adjust the seasoning to your liking. You can add more or less chili pepper depending on your spice preference.
  • Use Non-Stick Spray: To prevent the eggs from sticking to the air fryer basket, spray it with non-stick spray before adding the eggs.

🤔 How to Scale the Recipe Up and Down?

In case you will want to cook more eggs at once, and you have already pre-heated the air fryer, I would suggest dropping all the eggs in a separate bowl and after that, pouring the eggs into the air fryer. In that way, all the eggs will cook at the same time.

🔥 What Air Fryer Do I Use?

I used for this recipe the Cosori 5.8Q Air fryer, and I set it up at 400° F (200° C) for about 8 minutes (without preheating the air fryer).

🙋 Answering Your Questions:

Why Fry Eggs in an Air Fryer Instead of Frying Them on a Hob?

Is quicker and your kitchen will remain clean. You will need to wash only the air fryer pan, not half of the kitchen.

Can Fried Eggs Make You Fat?

Well if you don’t use a ton of oil or you’re not eating 10 pieces at once, you shouldn’t worry. Eggs are well-balanced in terms of nutrition and this is why many bodybuilders eat a lot of eggs. Eggs are considered to have the highest biological value for protein.

One medium egg contains around 75 calories, 7 grams of high-quality protein, and 5 grams of fat (in the egg yolk).

But! Pay attention that even eggs are low in saturated fat and they are a perfect source of proteins, although, egg yolks are also high in cholesterol. So, if you are eating more eggs daily, consider limiting the number of egg yolks. Egg whites, you can eat safely without feeling guilty.
