Chicken Arabic Shawarma

Make this delicious chicken Arabic Shawarma using a tender chicken meat seasoned with a mix of oriental spices, fresh vegetables and rolled in a Flatbread.


Crush the spices using a mortar and pestle to intensify their flavor.

In a large bowl, mix the meat with yogurt and spices. Leave them to marinate for 2 hours.

Cook the meat in an air fryer or in the oven.

I cooked the chicken thighs in the air fryer  at 380°F for about 20-25 minutes.

Prepare the yogurt sauce. Mix yogurt with chopped garlic and olive oil.

Spread the yogurt on a flatbread, put the vegetables, meat and aromatic herbs. Roll tightly.

The Arabic Shawarma is ready to be served!
