Homemade Orange Cake

Quick and Easy Dessert

A soft and moist Sicilian orange cake that you can make quick and easy at home. A bright orange flavor that you can obtain only if you’re using fresh oranges.

Needed Ingredients:

Put all the ingredients 2-3 hours before you start cooking to bring all of them to the room temperature.

Pour the eggs and sugar in a bowl and mix until you get a creamy composition.

Peel the orange zest from two oranges.

Peel one orange, cut into cubes and blend it.

Add the orange zest and blended orange over the mixture.

Add salt, baking powder and incorporate all the ingredients.

Add the flour and mix all the ingredients at the lowest speed.

Add the melted butter and oil.

Mix well until you will get a uniform mass.

Now prepare the baking tray. Cover it with baking paper, grease the bottom and walls with butter.

Pour over our cake composition that we just made.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the cake for about 45-50 minutes.
