Preheat the slow cooker to 300F/150C and pour in it oil and butter. Wait until the butter will melt.

Add the sliced onions, salt and pepper. Cook for about 8 minutes.

Add brandy, mix everything and cook for another minute until the alcohol will evaporate.

Add livers over the caramelized onions.

Cook them for about 5-6 minutes.

Set the lower setting 195F and let the liver simmer for about 30 minutes.
