Wash well the potatoes and boil them. Add a pinch of salt to the water.

After the potatoes have boiled, let them dry out. Smash the potatoes gently.

Put the smashed baby potatoes in the air fryer basket.

Arrange them evenly, in a single layer.

Season the smashed baby potatoes with rosemary, salt and garlic cloves.

Optionally, sprinkle a little bit of olive oil for extra flavor and crispiness.

Bake them for 5-7 minutes at 400°F / 200°C

Remove the air fryer basket, and put a few slices of gruyere cheese.

or you can sprinkle grated parmesan over the smashed potatoes.

Bake the baby potatoes for another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts.
