Why Cooking With Less Ingredients?
We used to cook elaborate meals with many ingredients and long prep times. They tasted amazing but took forever to make and left us with a pile of dirty dishes.
Then, when our child came along and time became a luxury, we shifted to quick, flavorful meals with fewer ingredients. Without even realizing it, our cooking style changed, and our blog evolved with us, focusing on dishes made with minimal ingredients.
These meals are all about being fast, easy, and still delicious – we refuse to compromise on taste.
We believe in keeping things simple. With just a handful of ingredients and a dash of imagination, you’ll be cooking like a pro in no time.
A Little Background About Us
We’ve been married for over a decade, living in Eastern Europe, Moldova, a country renowned for its exceptional wines and boasting the world’s largest wine collection, housing nearly 2 million bottles across 120 miles of labyrinthine roadways.
Moldova’s charm lies in its breathtaking hills and landscapes:
My culinary journey began at the tender age of six, playing with flavors in the kitchen and devouring cooking shows whenever I could. It wasn’t just about watching; I craved understanding, and experimenting to decode the science behind recipes near my mother and grandmother.
While I pursued a career in banking and finance and Alex thrived as a web designer, our shared passion for food remained constant. Friends and family raved about my recipes, often asking for instructions on how I made this specific recipe.
Then, during the pandemic, with a baby on the way, I decided to follow my heart, pausing my career in the finance industry to focus on the blog and spend more time with family.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
