Notes
Pie Crust Options: You can use either homemade or store-bought pie crust dough for this recipe. If using store-bought, follow the package instructions for pre-baking or use it directly for the quiche.
Adjusting Seasonings: Feel free to adjust the amount of oregano or other herbs and spices to suit your taste preferences. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a subtle kick of heat.
Ingredient Variations: While the recipe calls for cherry tomatoes, you can experiment with different tomato varieties or even sun-dried tomatoes for a more intense flavor. Additionally, you can add other ingredients like sliced black olives or chopped red bell peppers to customize your quiche.
Baking Time: The baking time may vary depending on your oven and the size of your quiche. Keep an eye on the quiche during the baking process and adjust the time as needed. The quiche is done when the center is set and the crust is golden brown.
Cooling and Serving: Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This helps the filling set and makes it easier to handle. The quiche can be served warm, at room temperature, or chilled, depending on your preference.
Make-Ahead Option: If making the quiche in advance, refrigerate it and reheat individual slices in the oven or enjoy it cold. It's a versatile dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
